Job Description

Company Summary:

 

Vivo Investment Group is a full-service private real estate investment and management company that specializes in converting low-demand hotels to efficient apartment complexes at market-rate pricing to renters while reducing traffic, waste and sprawl.

 

Vivo is a response to rapid gentrification crowding out our younger population and exacerbating income inequality across the country.

 

We are growing and we are looking for a highly motivated individual that will help the Development team meet their goals.

 

Responsibilities:

 

      Manage multiple construction projects across the country

      Travel to properties. Coordinate and track progress with contractors, owner vendors and operational needs (75% Travel)

      Coordinate in budget development and tracking

      Coordinate in schedule development and tracking

      Review proposals and bids

      Communicate with vendors and develop professional relationships

      Multitask and ensure all to-do items are executed and delivered on schedule

      Create and implement SOPs

      Deadline management

      Effectively communicate with the Development Lead on a daily basis

      Assist the Development Lead and the Asset Management team with ad-hoc projects

      Cross-Functional Coordination

 

Basic Qualifications:

 

      Bachelor’s Degree

      One of the following is required: Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, Management Science, Business.

      2-4 years of construction management experience required.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

      Experience in the Construction Industry and Real Estate Development

      Experience with Commercial General Contracting (New Builds or Remodels)

      Experience with mission critical project delivery

      Experience with permitting and city coordination

      Experience with design management and value engineering.

      PMP Certification

      Ability to read Construction Plans

 

Required Knowledge and Skills:

 

      Proficiency with MS Excel (Functions, Pivot Tables, Conditional Formatting)

      Budgeting

      Effectively communicate

      Detail oriented

      Ability to work under pressure

      Ability to collaborate with multiple departments

Compensation:

 

• Base Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 (w/Project Bonus Incentives)
